 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American comedian and actress is often referred to as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents Her career began as a child actor shortly after immigrating to the United States. From 2013 until 2016, she worked as the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020, she has been the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams. Her fame was boosted for her role in television commercials. She was a regular host on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also had a recurring role as a character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel Girl in the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was cast as Squirrel Girl in the unaired TV pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and an American Jew. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism by the age of two. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to financial difficulties in the family, she began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. After her sophomore year, she dropped out and got an GED. She continued however to earn the Bachelor of Arts Communication from University of California San Diego. She was a member of improv comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade.
